Yes that makes sense! The problem I’m having is sometimes her awake window start getting longer if I don’t help her to sleep..,I heard letting be up more than 2 hours is not good so If she doesn’t sleep by herself I find myself letting be in my arms!! Or if the nap is too short I sometimes finish again…with her in my arms n for example last night it was impossible to lay back so yes you guess it I let her in my arms! Oh lord I will have to re watch all your videos

Sorry Emma I will like to rectake this conversation: “If you choose to keep holding her, just make sure to stay still. This helps her learn to fall asleep without movement, making it easier to transition to the crib using the settling pyramid when you’re both ready.
Something else to consider: The first nap of the day is often the easiest for babies to fall asleep. So, if you’re looking to try the settling pyramid, starting with that nap might set you up for the most success.
You’re doing an amazing job, and for an 8-week-old, she’s doing so well!”
Some of the naps I’m waiting until she falls asleep, but I heard a friend that said: if you hold her for naps once that she has 4 months will be impossible to stop doing it!
Is that true?? I have been doing this if she can settle I hold her until like 20min and then transfers…she will be sleeping for 20-30min more!! But I’m afraid I’m not helping her to learn how to go back to sleep by herself!! Self soothing….its just for naps!! Night time she will sleep fine….i guess im afraid of the 4month regresión and if im now 2 months and 2weeks not helping her for when the regresión happens!! Thnjas

The problem is I’m feeding her 5oz like 5 times in the morning, by night I’m already close to 30oz… and supposedly a baby should be feed just that amount! I don’t know what to do!!
-
Or she’s waking up like 3:30 crying and she’s not supposed to be feed until 7am! I don’t know what else to do
-
Thank you for your help!! I’m trying this my best!! But know I have another issue, we put her to bed around 8pm and now she’s waking up around 5:30 am! So I don’t know what to do to not over feed her because she seems hungry! For example that happens today and I’m here waiting to be 7 am to give her bottle! She used to sleep at night almost for 7-6 hours and not she sleep between 4-5 hours! And or wake up earlier to be feed

- om your previous posts, I calculated that your little one is around 8 weeks old. Is that correct?
Yes she has 8 weeks
- Does she have a consistent wake time each day? If so, what time is it?
Around 7 am I wake her up to feed her
- Can you walk me through what her nap sleep routine looks like from start to finish?
I’m starting a routine not so long ago, trying to stay away from the feed and nap…but sometimes my a awake windows get too close that the only thing I can do is feed and or to bed. The new rutine is feed her, play and 10am before the awake window start bring it to the room swaddle and sit with her for 10pm then out it in the crib. But she will start crying as soon as I do that. The sush method will not work well sadly
- You mentioned you follow the wake, play, feed, sleep routine. Does this mean you feed her to sleep for all naps and at bedtime?
Depending, some naps are so short that the awake window will run me over, so if I’m in it or too close I will feed her and put it in the crib. Bedtime is bath, feed and sleep…nights are good!! She will sleep there but not for naps. Just one nap in the early morning she will do in the crib, for 1 or almost 2 hours.
- What does her bedtime routine currently look like?
6:40 pm bath, feed inside dark room with one bedtime song and then crib.
- When you say she ends up sleeping in your arms, are you able to lay her down in her crib or bassinet at all while she sleeps, or do you hold her for the entire nap?
I tried to put it in the crib and she will wake up right away.
- Overnight, where does she sleep?
Crib
- Does she use a pacifier?
Yes but it’s hit or miss
- Can you describe what her sleep environment is like in the bedroom? (e.g., darkness, noise level, temperature, white noise, etc.)
Darkroom, whit noise, 71 degrees mostly, swaddle.
- How many naps is she having per day, and how long do these naps usually last?
Try at least 3, morning one can be up to 2h after that 29min, 30 but know I’m ending with her in arms so she sleeps more there. How ever long we will give her…again I try to be less than 2 hours.
- Lastly, what time does she usually go to bed?
7:30 pm
-
At the end we end up with her sleeping in our arms and that’s worrying me!
