<p>I have been practicing the settling pyramid and for most nights, baby can go into the crib awake and fall asleep with shushing and patting, unless she is overtired and needs to be rocked to sleep first.</p>
<p>She is now 4.5 months old and for the past 2 weeks she keeps rolling over onto her tummy when she wakes up early in the morning&hellip;</p>

<p>Oh no that must have been quite a scare! Thank goodness she is fine now!</p>
<p>She has been doing quite well in the sleeping bag and I have noticed her sucking on her hands as well as stroking the back of her head – are these self-soothing behaviours?</p>
<p>I have been able to get her to fall asleep in my arms with less rocking and sometimes with just&hellip;</p>

<p>Thank you for the detailed reply!</p>
<p>She occasionally will take a pacifier, most often if I accidentally wake her up when I lay her down in the crib, or transitioning between sleep cycles. She will suck on it until she falls asleep, then will spit it out. The rest of the time, once she is fussy she will not take a pacifier and&hellip;</p>

<p><span>My LO is 11 weeks old and I haven&#8217;t been able to put her in the crib awake. Since her newborn stage we&#8217;ve been rocking her to sleep and placing her in the crib asleep &#8211; I haven&#8217;t even able to put her down &#8220;drowsy but awake&#8221; as she cries whenever we try to put her down.
