He’ll also fall asleep in the stroller (nearly flat) or a car. If I just do the crib he gets maybe 30min. With contact he gets 1.5-2hrs. I can get him to sleep on his back but his favourite is upright against my chest.</p>

<p>In classic baby fashion, things changed! I think he read my post and decided to flip the script. I’ll start a new thread because it’s a totally different topic.</p>

<p>Briefly &#8211; to answer your questions: he was having awake periods and I was using a swaddle blanket or a swaddle sack. </p>

<p>Little one is just over 4 weeks old, so this all might be very typical. I have recently noticed that he consistently needs a feed (sometimes just 1 side, range from 5-15min) before he will settle for a nap. I’d like to avoid always needing a feed or using the breast as a soother if that’s what this will lead to. </p>
