They’ve said they wouldn’t look to test unless it goes beyond the normal colic tapering off period around 12 weeks.
He’s mostly breastfed (I try to pump at night so my husband can feed him on the night shift), with maybe one night of formula every week or two if I haven’t been able to pump enough for my husband’s couple of night feeds (there’s no difference in his behaviour following a formula night that we’ve noticed).
He’ll often use breastfeeding as a way to help him pass gas I think, but he absolutely hates a dummy/pacifier even with us trying different brands (he had no trouble with the bottle though).

He’s unsettled for a lot of the day lately, but does have short stretches (maybe 10-15 mins) a few times a day where he’ll lie down the the play gym, in the next to me cot if I’m putting him down awake for a moment (this is rare, because he usually just cries as soon as I put him down, even if it’s for less than 5 mins). Most of the time the crying just stops for feeding, going in a pram ride with a bassinet attachment (but only when moving), or being walked around for long stretches over someone’s shoulder.
He’s generally fine lying down for changing his nappy (unless he’s just generally upset). He’ll also sometimes be ok in the baby bjorn bouncer on the most horizontal position for a short stretch.
He does get upset in the morning too, but it’s easier for him to naturally end up contact napping after a feed for the first one. After that, sometimes even the contact naps are now a struggle. It’s breaking my heart hearing him extra upset because he’s overtired but won’t sleep or nap.
