<p>Emma, thank you so much again. The new routine seems to work much better &#8211; my baby&#8217;s sleep has improved and she is falling asleep on her own again for naps and bedtime so easily like nothing ever happened. I am definitely going to try your tips on settling her back to sleep at night wakings. I just wish I would have asked for your help&hellip;</p>

<p>We had some appointments today so her naps did not follow your exact suggested schedule.</p>
<p>First nap 9:15-10:15 (fell asleep in the car).</p>
<p>Second nap at 12:20-13:54 (fell asleep in the car).</p>
<p>Bedtime at 7:30. Putting in the crib at 8:10. She was calmer: she sat up a few times in the crib and I laid her down, every time patted and&hellip;</p>

<p>Wow, it is going to be so unusual to get back to two nap schedule &#x1f648; but I am definitely going to try it and will let you know, how that will work. And I want to make sure I understood well: if I start bedtime at 7:30, I do put her to bed around 8, right?</p>

<p>I was just wondering if when you say that you move back down the pyramid before she falls asleep, does this mean you move out of her line of sight so that she falls asleep without you in view? &gt; If it is possible yes, but if she stirs too much, she falls asleep while I am in view or patting her.</p>

<p>So, I applied your suggested schedule, and it worked pretty well. I only started putting her to nap at 11:30 a.m. instead of 11 a.m. because if I put her at that time, she tends to fall asleep but wakes up after a few minutes, and then it is hard to put her back to sleep, and 11:30 worked better.</p>

<p>That&#8217;s right, on days I wrote about within those 4-10 minutes, she fell asleep and did not wake up in 20-40 minutes. But again yesterday, she fought sleep and fell asleep only in my arms. <p>Time variation. I follow her tired sign cues. Usually it&#8217;s about 4-4,5 hours after she wakes up, but sometimes it extends to 5 hours. Also, if she wakes up earlier, like 6:30 a.m., this also influences her first nap timing. And one more thing: with time, I find it&hellip;</p>

<p>My baby usually wakes up around 7 a.m. If she does not wake up, I wake her and let her sleep no longer than 7:30 a.m. (but it happens very rarely).</p>
<p>She starts her first and now only nap between 11 and 12 a.m. If she does not wake up herself, I cap her nap at 2 p.m. or after 2.5 hours of&hellip;</p>

<p>Great to know everything went well with your daughter!</p>
<p>I&#8217;m happy to share that my baby girl&#8217;s naps are great &#8211; she falls asleep on her own and recently she stopped catnapping and now very often I have to wake her up from her naps :). Bedtime also became much easier, although I usually have to use a settling pyramid.</p>

<p>For daytime naps, it sounds like she is sleeping in her crib after you go through a nap routine. You’re placing her in the crib, and sometimes she falls asleep on her own, but if she doesn’t, you use the settling pyramid to help her drift off. <p>My baby wakes up around 5:30-6:30 AM. So she has her first nap about 2 hours from waking. But I could not tell exactly what time she has all of her naps, since most of the time her naps are 30-45 minutes long and still seems a bit chaotic.
