Thank you very much for your reply Emma!

I do have a few follow up questions on the 4th point, longer nap and not able to be put down:

    – Her wake window is very long in my opinion. Typically during the day, she would feed for at least an hour, we do first breastfeeding, and then we top up with some formula. Including the burping sessions in between, and she does fuss a little in the second half of the feeding session. Then she would stay awake for at least half an hour, and then we would spend at least another half hour to out her down to nap. It’s very rare that she takes only 90 min between naps, often time she would take more, mostly because we are unsuccessful in putting her down to her next nap so her wake window keeps getting extended and she gets overtired I believe and makes it harder to be put down.

    – what also happens is we try a few different ways to calm and soothe and put her down to sleep. Such as walking and rocking, if that doesn’t work for a while, we try carrier, then stroller nap, until one of them allows her to fall asleep. And there’s still no guarantee these will be a deep sleep, maybe a quick cat nap. Is this an okay way? Or do these cat nap completes a cycle so after she wakes up, we should start another full cycle of feed play and sleep? And if she only falls asleep after over 2 hours of wake time, and the nap lasts over 2 hours or more, technically it’s been 4 hours since her last feed, should I also wake her up to feed? If she is sleepy, I feel the feed won’t be efficient even if I do wake her up.

    – I’ve been putting a lot of stress on myself on following a schedule, I see a lot of suggestions saying the 3 hour schedule. So when she doesn’t fall asleep within the right amount of time, I feel I have failed her in giving her the right amount of food and sleep like the example I mentioned, which happens often. I wish I have a way to break this cycle, unless you think I should let the baby lead the way of her own sleep schedule instead of trying to following a set schedule. As long as she is gaining weight and peeing and pooping normally.

Thank you again for your guidance.
