Yes, This sounds good. She is exactly 3 months and 5 days old. She should be sleeping longer night sleeps 🙂

I will start with the option 1 and move towards the option 2 within a week or two.

I believe, now she already got nap routine in a sling. She falls asleep really fast. Hopefully, this will work.
