Hello and thank you for your quick reply!

The two tips you gave me are working well.

The naps are still during only half an hour if it’s in the crib. I guess sometimes she needs movement or food to keep sleeping, because if I take her out of her crib and breastfeed her, then she continues sleeping.

    To your questions:

    1. Wake-Up Time: she typically wakes up between 7:45 – 8:15am.
    2. Nap Schedule: the last week she has slept four naps, 2-3 in her crib and 1-2 in the baby carrier. They are not at the same time but more or less around 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm. She goes to sleep at around 9:30pm at night.
    3. Nap Routine: close the blinds, turn on the white noise, put on the swaddle, take her in my arms, sing a lullaby while rocking/walking, slow down the rocking while including taps on her back, begin to shush and stay still in front of her crib until she falls asleep. If she begins to cry, I begin to rock/walk again but this time only a bit, then I stop and continue with the taps and the shushing.
    4. Sleepwear: she wears a swaddle for naps and the same one to sleep at night.
    5. Bedroom Environment: the bedroom is around 20°C, very dark (as at night) and the only sound she has is the white noise.
    6. Settling for Naps: the feeding depends on her needs. If the rockinv/walking is not working to settle her down, I try to feed and normally it works.
    7. Daytime Feeding: Something that I have changed regarding her feeding is including a bottle of formula right after the breasts. This ensures that she gets a full belly before beginning with playtime. That works better since she is now falling asleep without extra food.

Thanks again! Your support gives me fresh energy to continue the sleeping journey 🙂

    Warm regards

    Gabriela
