Hi Emma,
Thank you for getting back to me!
-
Consistent Wake-Up Time:
- I was worried you would say that. ðŸ˜
- I will give this a try. We’ll aim for 7 for a while and see if it helps before pushing back to 630.

Adjusting Her Bedtime and Nap Pre-Sleep Routine:
-
I’ve been thinking that I might be rocking her too long! I will implement this immediately. My mom is fully on board so i will let her know about the adjustment.

Pacifier Consideration:
-
I don’t think the pacifier is an issue. She spits it out as she starts to drift into deep sleep and when she stirs in between sleep cycles she usually stays asleep without it.

Earlier Bedtime:
- This would be really tough. I work long days so I dont usually get to her grandma’s to pick her up until close to 6pm. To get her to sleep any earlier we’d have to skip solids (and I’d probably have to go without dinner until shes asleep) and go straight into the bath- nurse- sleep routine as soon as we get home. I’m not comfortable for her to do solids in my absence yet which is why we do them at dinner time.
Thank you for the input! I’ll definitely try a more consistent wakeup time and putting her down before she gets too droopy. Hopefully that will do the trick. 🤞
