    Hi Emma,

I put my comments on “” for better understand, hopefully that’s helps you.

I understand her bedtime is 8pm, and you do a bedtime routine. She generally falls asleep on her own in the crib. “Exactly”

When she doesn’t fall asleep and needs your help, what are you doing to help her fall asleep? Are you using the settling pyramid or doing something else?

“We didn’t know of the settling pyramid you reccommend” Let me here mention that, we started 1 month and half ago to help her to sleep independently using a mixed of various methods based on different books and mainly we use Ferber method, at the beginning we also used the steps of settling pyramids without knowing that. Thus, when she cries more than 5 min we are geing into the room and we gentle patting and a gentle touch in her cheek then when she calm down we get out of the room and wait, if doesn’t cry a lot I am not going in the room and she falls asleep. If she doesn’t falls asleep and she cries We wait for 10 minutes and then get in the room , pat pat and most of the times falls asleep. But always get in view and we touch her, we never did ssssshhhh out of sight…and we try do not pick up her! then she used to move her head right and left couple of times and in general after that she falls asleep!!

Just to let you know that since yesterday something change, she doesn’t use her head right left to falls asleep she just screaming aaaa and stop her head and falls asleep and she has fuzziness and is really hard for her to fall asleep in her crib and she wakes up at 11pm / 2:30 and 5:30 crying a lot and gives the impression that she doesn’t know how to falls asleep without breast feeding, and she takes really short naps 26 minutes. She also falls asleep at night and at nap during I read her the book without have the opportunity even to turn on the white noisy and say goodbye !, why all this happens? Is this an issue??”

After she falls asleep at bedtime, I got the impression she generally sleeps until 4:30/5/6 am. But sometimes she wakes at 1:30 or 3 am, and she either falls back to sleep independently or you comfort her by talking to her until she falls back asleep. When she wakes at 4:30/5/6 am, you are breastfeeding her, and she falls back to sleep until 7 am or slightly later “ or if I breast feeding at 5 am she could falls back to sleep until 6:30 and then even she is drowsy, she doesn’t fall asleep and she falls asleep when I breast feeding her for her breakfast at 7:15 am”

Thank you very much for your help , hopefully my comments makes sense, because I am really confused of what is going on!! Apologies if I didn’t help you to make everything clear !!
